Black and Blue

by Mira   Sep 22, 2009

The black and blue berry marks on the soul of her heal
Slowly as she walks barefoot,
(A cross),
across
The grass. stains her feet.
Up the hill, she goes after running through
Bushes of black and blue buries her soul in
The dirt. washes away as a man with out stretched hands rinses off the mess she's made with water from the
Flowing streams. of tears roll down her cheeks, red from shame, but glowing with grace.
