Our Future To Be

I look back on the times
The times when we were us
The times when things weren't so rough

I look back with a smile
Of all the memories we had
I just wish it didn't have to end so bad

I cant believe i broke up with you
But whats done is done
I just cant believe i ran away from my one true love

You don't cherish something until its gone
I have seen i was deeply in love with you all along

So i don't have to look back on the past

That we always talked about
Because i do i remember without one doubt

It was gonna be a big house
With five bedrooms and 4 bathrooms in Tennessee
With our 3 dogs,2kids, and you and me

It would be a two story house
With a wrap around porch
And me and you both had our own little chores

But the inside of it is what really matters
We would lay together cuddled up at night
Telling each other how this is so right

And if the kids had a nightmare or got scared
They could jump in our bed and id hold all of you so tight
And protect you from any boogie monsters in the night

We could have a perfect family
And be as happy as can be
Just as long as you say you still want a future with me
