It's been so long,
Since shes felt this way.

The light in her eyes,
When he walks into the room.

The butterflies she gets,
Everytime they touch.

She was broken; never to be healed,
Until the day he walked into her life.

It's been so long,
Since she's felt this way.

But starting today,
The feeling is here to stay.

The light in her eyes,
Is here to brighten up her day.

But eventually,
The feeling will fade.

That light in her eyes,
Will soon be gone.

And the butterflies,
Will soon be gone.

Starting today,
She's realizing that not everything is meant to last forever.
