And she wants to be your addiction

by Behind Blue Eyes   Oct 3, 2009

It's 3 o clock in the morning
and i'm wide awake, laying in bed.
while i should be peacefully sleeping,
i'm thinking of you instead;
of all the promises you will never make,
the three words that will go unspoken,
how you'll subconciously get my hopes up
right before you leave me broken.
and i can't put the blame on you
because i knew what to expect from the start.
so i'll take responsibility for it all
if my heart ends up beaten, bruised and torn apart.
you made it clear what your intentions were;
it's my fault if i get hurt.
i'm a hopeless-romantic, dreamer who fell for a guy
with an ***hole charm and time to flirt.

    I think you could tweak it a bit here and there, I'm still not sure on the ending, but overall I liked it. I really like the title and it feels like a song to me, i don't know if you meant it to be lyrics, but a nice job. I enjoyed it.
