Chapter by Chapter

Write away my life with absolute resolve,
Later to realize I've written gibberish.
Crumbling with-in my own chaotic mind.
A scream going without a reason.

It all falls on empty ears.

The blade stained with tears,
Not blood.
The hanker-chief drenched in blood.
What kind of story is this?

A fairy tell for bad guys.

I scream my distaste, my obvious rebelliousness.
Get me out of this nightmare.
This drawn out life.
I wish to write anew.

To bad it was written in pen.

Words on words, whispers covering lies.
It was all a mask of grim resolve
Remove it, to show what is under.
A beautiful face perhaps?

That of love.

I realized that was only one chapter of my life.
This is a new one.
A fairy tale of a fairy tale.
But is there a happily ever after?

Perhaps.

The story continued, the pen scribbling away.
Chapters fly by and I realize.
Happily ever after isn't to come for a very long time.
If you are knight in shining armor, who is the evil witch?

Wouldn't you like to know?
