Chains of Fate

by Someone   Oct 3, 2009

Gagging on thick air falling into a never ending abyss
Screaming to the world "what's this!?"
Not understanding anything, feeling cold, afriad.
But yet I was there, but yet I stayed.

Set me free from these chains of careful anger,
let me go into danger.
I can no longer breath in your temperary world,
Now I realize, your master plan unfurled.

You meant to use me,
abuse me.
Put my life on a string and pull as far as it can go,
Even though I yell "NO!"

Stop it, pulling it back,
You're heart was always lack.
Let me go, you're hurting me,
My pain was you're decree.

Scream you say, so I do,
"LET ME THROUGH!"

So you let me go after so long,
So happy I could sing a song.
I walk away from you, chains left behind,
My eyes gone blind.

Out in the real world I begin to sufficate,
Breathing becoming late.
The real world is colder,
My body feels older.

In the end you were protecting me,
You tried to make me see.
To your arms of pain I go,
My smile in tow.

Forever I will be a slave to being used,
but it feels better then being out there.
Use me.
For the better.
