I am a teddy bear,
I cannot feel, not pain, not happiness,
Emotions are beyond my reach,
Still I provide love to many children,
And I watch over them with my unchanging eyes,
I give those near me warmth and comfort even on the darkest of nights,
I do not judge and I cannot protest,
Although I am small, I am powerful,
I give children something to hold onto when they can do nothing but cry,
I am always caring,
I am always supporting,
I am always welcoming,
For I am a teddy bear.
