You break my heart.

by Caitlyn   Oct 15, 2009

Deep long gashes along my wrists,
My hands tighten into fists.
I ask myself "Why"? everyday,
But I have stopped, this is a game they play;
Twisting your words into lies,
They laugh as you let out silent cries.
Cornering you in the dark,
You just waiting for a little spark.
Shattered and hurt on the floor,
Waiting for them to say no more.
Wanting and wishing to leave this place,
For time an memory you cannot erase.
You keep saying it's not your fault,
Yet it still feels like your wounds are drowned in salt.
No more, no less,
The key has been taken out of it chest.
The sticks and the stones,
May break my bones,
But you break my heart.
