Hook, Line, & Sinker

by Jenn   Nov 3, 2009

Hook, Line, and Sinker-
You have fallen for it again.
You believed every word that he spoke.

Haven't you learned your lesson by now?
How many time are you going to believe those same words?
You know that you hear them over and over again.
It is starting to sound like a broker record.

How many times are you going to believe when they tell you How they are so different from all of the rest-
That they don't lie and they are for real?
How many times are you going to believe it when they tell you how beautiful you are?
That they really just want to be with you and get to know you better.
How many times are you going to believe it when they tell you that you have such a beautiful body.

You know deep down they are all the same-
They all know the right words to say to reel you right in.

Hook, Line, and Sinker-
You believed every word e said,
And now you have a broken heart once again-
And he is off finding the next hook and line to sink.

I fell for this many times; hook, line and sinker. This is the best one I have read of yours, flawless and very true and emotional. Well written, 5/5. Em
