Plastics that melt in the sun

by Byron   Nov 3, 2009

I've sustained with a great assault
I've held my head towards the burning sun
Squinted my eyes to manage the light
Just to turn and start too run

To a distant so far away
To the painted scenery
I've tried my best to avoid the day
But sucked in by the greenery

Now this state is what I fear
Half awake and feeling dead
I can't believe I am still here
With this over crowded head

Felt like this plastic that melts in the sun
Nothing real that could remain
No real joy hope or fun
Slowly I start to feel insane

The title was one of the most creative titles I've seen in awhile and I wasn't surprised that the poem that followed was just as great. Very nice poem dear, pleasure to read. Nik
