Miles White

by StillxBreathing   Nov 11, 2009

Flash of pain and the feelings gone
It's out, it's early, it's over
Straight from her heart
To the small wooden box
Only a dream, only a curse
Is it real, is it true?
That suddenly it ended
Nursery to obituary
The hour that time stood still
Tears and rain and more to fall
The miracle didn't last
Small face and little fingers
Too weak to grasp hers
She's too strong to cry
Not yet, not just yet.
But I know it's true.
I heard the phone call
It's out, it's early, it's over
