Harmony In The Thickets

by Tom Swart   Nov 12, 2009

The forest softly sighs your name
As she searches her glens for you.
The dawn delivers the dew,
her tears reflect sun spots like tiny jewels.

The gentle moss hides in the shadows
They grow a soft bed for you.
The tender shoots of the acorn
Lend their youth gladly.

The chorus of the leaves are in harmony
As each sings its song for you.
The wind dances with the ferns
As they play with my hearts desire.

There is an echo in the thickets
The name they rebound is yours.
The peace now surrounds us
As we all caress and make love to you.
