Have You Ever

by Nicole Kinder   Jun 15, 2004

Have u ever felt so out of place,
like u don't belong
have u ever felt so lonely
and knew u weren't wrong?

Have u ever been surrounded by people,
and yet felt so alone
like no one was paying attention,
like your presence was unknown?

Have you ever felt that no one cared
especially not for you,
and have u ever heard them talking sh*t
and found the exclusion true?

Have u ever realized,
that most people really don't care
it doesn't make a difference
if you're even there?

Have u come to see,
the true intentions in their eyes,
that will never look at you,
despite your pain-stricken cries?

Have u ever felt this way?
Felt like u were alone
and realized that your feelings
constantly went unknown?

Well, Ive felt this way,
day in and day out.
This is all the pain,
that has caused me to scream and shout.

For everyone whos felt this way,
just know youre not alone.
And that winds always change,
this feeling isnt set in stone.

alright, thatnks for the comments, and you guys were right, it was lacking something, so i added to the end of it. And because this is a poem i wrote a while ago, and i dont feel this way anymore, i decided to make it more of a inspirational piece. hope you guys like!

    Nice poem, with nice rhymes.
The theme is something that most people can relate too, or will in the future.

You need at least four more lines to close the poem. It seem to be waiting for them.

try to end it with a non-question stanza.
    a 'if you have then'
