Flame of GLORY

by FindingHarmonyInYurCries   Nov 27, 2009

A little flame of glory
Lighting up my night
It seems so intent
On taking someone's life

I contemplate it's mood
Then it gives me a hint
It hisses and crackles
Burns and doesn't think

Determination and anger
Keep it burning along
Until someone sprays some water
Suddenly, the end of its song

No more hissing to be heard
Just a dying breath
Even flames seem to have feelings
When they're facing death

The fire's last attempt
To be brought back from the dead
Dies suddenly
And there's no more glowing red

Goodbye my flame of glory
And thankyou once again
You lit up my dark night
And taught me of beauty in pain

Despite how much I hate yu feeling pain,
    I hope it's a good 'Flame' you've found. . .

For God's sake, I hope it is.
