I'm Fooling Myself

by PinkyPrincess   Dec 12, 2009

I just need to fool you
the way I fool myself
You just need to believe
that I am happy with my life

I never signed up for this
I never thought you'd do this to me
But now there's a past life I truly miss
I will never have it, this is how life will always be

You're the person that lifted me
When I couldn't walk
But you're the same person that hurt me
And now I can't even talk

I cry myself to sleep every night
Hoping my sorrow will end
My facade begins with the shining morning light
I have no one turn to, not even a friend

All I see is black and white
I no longer see colors because of my grayscale
My pain is seen through my eyesight
I'm constantly reminded of my relationship fail

I'm fooling myself
And I'm fooling you too
My heart is packed in a box on the shelf
Because there is nothing else I can do

This is really well worded and so easy to relate to. With love comes the possibility of heartache...but without love our lives would be empty and pointless. So take the rose and accept the thorns is my device:)

Chin up girl, I hope all willl work out well for you:)

    Well done.

    God bless,
