Lost Beneath the Looking Glass

by Lyssi Lori   Dec 13, 2009

He only wants to put her on his shelf for display,
But he is in love with her looks, not what she has to say.
Her voice becomes a whisper, to him, they mean nothing,
He pretends she is his princess, and that he is her king.
She's his porcelain doll, her smile is merely paint,
But he pretends to love her and calls her a saint.
Her name is Laura, but he probably forgot,
He wants to make her someone she is not.
She got lost in his fairytale, where people never go,
Beneath the looking glass no one knows.
Everyone is mad, they would love for his affection,
No one sees that he is causing her world's corruption.
