Time Shatters In The Cold

by Indian Comma Bean   Dec 14, 2009

Moments dwindle on a thought,
Perceived by subtle notions,
That life cannot be lived throughout
A world of our clockwork motions.

Locked behind a lucid wall,
Slaving hands control our fate,
Voiceless as they tend to be
They seem to lack a simple trait.

When time is frozen, there they stay,
Along with minds that live apart,
For steel arms cannot stop
Those who live to serve their heart.

Read this a couple times & what I got out of it was about the robotic age that we're facing in today's society...could be wrong, but this was a thought voking piece.
