Not the End, but Again

by What happens when the musics over   Dec 23, 2009

You're in my life once again,
I ask: are we just friends?
All our moments and our time,
it takes me back to the day I thought you were mine.

I wasn't hurt nor sad.
I wasn't happy, but I wasn't mad.
You're in my life once again,
I need a promise there will be no end.

It's not something I enjoy,
I'm not this reusuable toy.
Things have changed,
we are not the same.

Scatter the past, it doesn't need to be arranged.
Oddly, it's a game,
start all over again.
Now our chance to do things different,
we both will win in this end.
We walk away never, my dear old friend.
