Honest Lies

by What happens when the musics over   Jul 29, 2011

Every sigh, every call--
is saying something even worth it at all?
Every silent cry, every wish for death--
is it even worth taking that final breath?
Every sorrow thought, every lonely night--
ever stop to think if your life is worth the fight?
Every swollen face, every salty cheek--
have you ever lived a life that was descrete?

Every blank though, every blank face--
has anyone one told you lately you are such a disgrace?
Every gulp, every tissue--
how long have you been lying to yourself until you believe it is true?

There is the bright eyes, the luminous smile--
what have we here;
beautiful lies and gut-wrenching denials.
Looks as if life has returned to you--
you magically no longer feel blue.

You have found the solution!
Solution of lies, you may have failed--
your eyes forever follow your trail.
For the solution of lies can only be seen by others' eyes until the day comes when you fade to your dark abode of cries.
