Winter Gems

by Poet on the Piano   Dec 29, 2009

Sapphire halos dye vanilla snow
-dispelling thousands of angels
born in the misty mountains-
breathing encouragement
into every doubtful soul.

Song-filled whispers creep
-through underground caves
empty with broken dreams-
enchanting iridescent dragons
to fly out of imprisoning captivity.

Tinted blue oceans roll past
-carrying precious treasures
that will restore humanity-
covering timid soil with beauty
fabric from the hands of God.

Opalescent zephyrs wave
-bringing a refreshing taste
to the oppressive atmosphere-
placing brilliant silver crowns
on the heads of all nature.

    'breathing encouragement

^I think 'to' would sound better as into.

Another great write...I dont think theres anything you cant do. I sort of agree with the above comment, at times it feels like vocabulary is forced, but overall with such a strong vocabulary it was more interesting to me instead of dull boring words without meaning. Nicely done..(:

Very interesting here, made me think. The vocabulary at certain points seemed a bit forced, but still worked. It very well succeeded in painting a picture in my mind, and to no surprise kept me reading. A refreshing post in the nature section. The flow was that of your tinted blue oceans, and it brought my mind a precious treasure. Good show.
