Tell Me Sun, Where Can My Light Be Found?

by Indian Comma Bean   Jan 5, 2010

Putrid memories linger
Under aging indecision
Left upon a moment's doorstep,
Masking a story
Never told.
Raping the eyes of a soul,
Twisting the light of a heart,
A heart that lost a beat
To sweet love's indignation;
Solace bestows wisdom
In the presence of
Silent soliloquies
Left to wither, entwined
In utter depravity -
Alone.
Solemn reflection
Perceives subtle notions
of absent sparks
In body and mind,
As earth and spirit
Combine; Oh,

To be alive.
