Only one tear tonight...

One single tear,
All I will cry for you tonight.

Other nights though,
My pillow was soaked.

After all the tears,
Why have my eyes not run dry?

Tonight is different,
Only a single tear I will cry.

One warm, salty tear,
That slowly slides down my cheek.

A single tear,
Filled with all the pain and sorrow,
My heart can't hold.
