Why would you?

by Fire Catches   Jan 18, 2010

The cold and loneliness reappeared tonight
Words that would cause a stir were brought into plain
Did they not realize I might just have relapsed?
Using the razor for my unbearable pain

Twisting the thin line into a funny picture
Causing it to break the frame of what was held tight
Water of tears spilling all over
Hiding my face away from the night

Dropping from smiles to embarrassment
Hanging on the edge of my deep frown
My body aches within myself
Taking me in a hole that goes to far down

Breaking what was left in my fingers
Is now shivering madness
Trying to hold down reality
But there is too much sadness

So let your laugh roam the room
To only shatter what was barely there
Because it's your happiness that only counts
For mine, you really couldn't care!
