A Moment To Rediscover

by Indian Comma Bean   Jan 22, 2010

Revelation awakens grief
for absent trails of thought
leading desolation
to destination.
Water-logged leather
keeps gravity on my mind,
a mind that counts the stars
like raindrops on my tongue.
Cynical eyes peer through
aquatic aberrations
much alike to fish above the sea,
I have no business here.
Frost resides upon my flesh
entwining its crystalline ivy
with my pale heart;
However numb it may be.
The roots of my irises constrict
thirsting for knowledge, experience -

For life.
