Back in the game

by abi   Jan 29, 2010

Back in the trials of sales,
back in that finance game,
noone really caring,
just get the money and name.

Speaking to this lady,
speaking to that man,
what a mundane week it's been,
guess I chose this hand.

Kinda miss being top girl,
Kinda miss the cash,
The weekend is luming,
Time to get on the lash.

Gonna go see the fella,
Gonna go get wrecked,
Probably forget to eat again,
Fingers crossed I don't get decked.

Can't wait for my head to be spinning,
Can't wait to be off my face,
Really don't want monday to come,
Back to that shitty, mundane place.

The question here is *where* you are in the game.
I suspect that you constantly find yourself back in two separate games, weekday & weekend, but rarely investing yourself in reality - except, perhaps, in your writing?
