Critical Chances

by Shinobi   Feb 9, 2010

Wishing tomorrow isn't an illusion
Hoping to live and see another day
After we'll reach the final conclusion
Reluctantly searching for things to say

Never felt so loved, so betrayed
By words and feelings, all as one
Of this sole moment I am afraid
Finishing the work I have begun

Nothing but perfection gleams bright
Her eyes warm and caring for my heart
Knowing I don't want her out of my sight
Hope it won't end, glad we had a start

The dawn of a new day will shine again
My heart will sink with each breath I take
For thoughts fill my head with pain
Counting the minutes, putting all in stake

This reminds me of my fiancee and all the reasons I love her just for who she really is. I love all the time we've shared together but it does hurt thinking one day no matter how perfect it is....it'll all be over. Nice job 5/5
