Creation Made Anew

by Poet on the Piano   Feb 10, 2010

Morning's resonance surrounds me
as I press my nose to the window
I am touched by standing works
of Alaya the silver Ice Queen.

Deep blues lulled by twilight songbirds
shed their drowning color
and transfigure into snow angels
that set enchantment about.

Tiny winter whispers run
while a laughing gale lets loose
direction is immediately blinded
as they caress ground with a twirl.

White mountains wait before me
how I yearn to climb upon them
a chilling but victorious throne
where I shall watch day unfold.

Keep falling glittery smiles
for I need your company today
I have free time ahead in my path
to become mesmerized by your beauty.

In dedication to the two days we have off of school because of this beautiful snow. I woke up this morning and watched the winter wonderland outside and it was simply amazing. Enjoy!
