I'll Be Fine Without You

by Kayla   Feb 13, 2010

Snow slowly begins to fall,
Each flake unique in its own way.
It's times like this that I remember,
Back when you left on that cold December day.

Every day slowly drags on and on,
I see you everywhere I go.
Your laughter rings in my ears,
The sound of that once magical hello.

I used to once believe,
I couldn't ever live without you.
But now you're gone, I'm still breathing,
It hurts, but I know that I have to.

You don't even know boy,
What I'd do to get you back.
Even though you've broken me,
Left my heart with permanent cracks.

Too many doubts cross my mind,
Soon enough, the sun's gonna shine.
I'll find my own place in this world,
Get over the want to call you mine.

I honestly do love you, babe,
Even after all we've been through.
But, no matter how hard it is,
I'm going to be fine without you.
