Withered Rose

by Adelaide   Feb 17, 2010

Depleting beauty,
existing only for ridicule,
fading petals hanging on,
bowing in submission,
dew dripping down,
crying lonely tears,
flawed among perfect beauty,
withering slowly
suffering its last moments
of life

A beautiful piece. In sadness, there is a beauty. The passing of a rose is always sad. Good write.
