Lost and found

by FlowerThatDied   Feb 25, 2010

Where is my mother,
To rock me at night?
Where is my father,
To defend my every fight?
And where is the sister
Who should be here?
I've looked all over the house,
I'm sure she is no where near.

Where is my blanket
To shield me from cold?
Where is my pillow,
To rest my head when the day's old?
And where is my lover
To whom I did once depend?
I've tried to write letters,
That I've never dared send.

Where are the momentos
I used to hide beneath my bed?
Where are the photographs,
That remind me of what is dead?
And where is my own mind
That used to make so much sound?
I want to hammer up posters,
You can call me when it's found.

Very interesting piece. Simple yet, a little mysterious. I liked the way you wrote it however, quite creative! Keep writing, 5/5
