It's been so long,
since i've held you in my arms.
Sad memories linger,
My nights empty with no stars,

I remember the first few weeks
when you were no longer mine,
Its a nightmare come true,
my sun no longer shines.

The emptiness beside me,
chilling the wound in my soul.
My hand not holding yours,
these memories never growing old.

Maybe it was for the better,
I loved you enough to let you go.
The ghost of our love still haunts,
all the while my darkness grows.

How can i leave it behind,
how can i leave my heart to mend?
Its so hard to ignore the echos of a love lost,
when will it ever end??
