Little Merman

He was gazing across the ocean
His brown Eyes Focused on the Sea
He saw a fair maiden
Sitting by the sea

For what replaced her feet
He could not even dream
It was a tail, a beautiful tail
In the color of icy green

He started walking toward her
Singing the most beautiful song
She did not turn around
But started singing along

She rushed into the ocean
His heart was about to bleed
Their eyes have been blind to love
For now they can finally see

He wanted to see her again
But didn't know how
So he called upon the wizard
Who greeted him with a bow

Under the surface is a whole new world
Where the sky seems closer to the ground
And where Atlantis shines like the sun
Then he starts to look around

Though he can not talk
He finds two new friends
Elmo the dolphin and Phillip the sordfish
Are his two new friends

He starts looking around
He looks high and low, far and wide
But he still can not find his maiden
For this he lets out out a sigh

This is not how this goes
He says to himself
I am supposed to find her
But their being seven seas does not help

The next three days he searched
Harder for her than anything in his life
He wanted to find her
He wanted her to be his wife

By the end of the third day
He was still alone
With his friends beside him
He lets out a terrifying moan

Oh no he was going back human
How could this be
But he could not live because
He was at the bottom of the sea

She finds him laying in her garden
And then she lets out a cry
Knowing he got so close
It hurts so much, she later dies

She tried to bury him
She tried to let him be
But a shark came behind her
Now they are together in the heaven under the sea
