We Know Where You Live

by Larry Chamberlin   Mar 4, 2010

We know where you live, believe it.
You may try but can't get away;
We'll reel you in as we desire:
Christmas, Summer, Grandparents Day.

You think you could grow past childhood
Hooks and our gentle, guiding guilt?
Don't make us bring you down to there -
That room you've shut, past walls you've built.

We know where you live, you know it.
We know where your buttons are pressed.
So bring our grand kids; after all,
You're the darlings we've always blessed.

    This is cute, and kind of humorous I loved it. It was short, simple, and sweet, you made me smile:)
