If Loneliness Had a Sound...

by Adelaide   Mar 13, 2010

It would begin as a whisper,
softly breathing lonely words in my ear,
Soon it would evolve to an echo,
drumming solos and inspiring tears,
It would transform into a scream,
shouting out every worry and fear.

I really like how even though it is short the storyline really feels finished and it was nicely developed. ^_^

There's something so very appealing in this piece. Loneliness, and sounds, two words that pretty much contradict each others meanings.
Loved the simplicity, the descendant words; whisper, echo, screams, shouting. I really loved that :)
    Well done!

Strange that even though loneliness is silent it can speak more ... hurt more than any word could.
    wonderfully written...

Your escalation is both logical and painful in its depiction. The true measure of a piece like this is that it vividly evokes bad memories of nights spent in teenage angst.
