A promising future

by Marcus blake   Mar 19, 2010

I am floating
Away
To another universe
So today
You have a reason to miss me
I've been dropping salty tears
Since I said bye that day
To you
I had to go on that crimson path
Walking though the fires of the unknown
Cause were I was at that moment
Was a place were I couldn't hold
You...
I left you with a good-bye
Told you I'd be back but lied
5 years passed and my figure was that of a lost dead man
For I've lost you to the past I devoured
When I turn around all I see us the black mouth of despair
And when I look foreword I see "Gates" Glimmering with light
Funny how the future is so promising
When we throw our past and present away
