Yesterday

Yesterday
Just isn't far enough away
To be the past in my mind.
Not enough time
Has passed between
Now and then
For me to move on again.
I need a month of todays
And a year of tomorrows
To get me far enough away
Before I'll forget the pain
Of yesterday.
