Spring's Riot

by Rusheena   Mar 26, 2010

The fresh, dry air crept through winter's core, one day.

It stirred up such a fuss, that even the creatures thought it was May.

The birds' songs were violent; they sang with fire, so gay.

The grass turned green with envy.

The sky was no longer gray.

Flowers bloomed with fury, as the dead trees resurrected.

The wind then joined the union, while the rest of Spring interjected.

The sun burned bright with arrogance, for it knew its time was near.

The riot reigned all that day, while the earth shouted loud with cheer!
