Perfection bleeds

by victoria   Mar 30, 2010

Corruption in mind,
a mind that bleeds,
to much pain to carry out the peace,

I try so hard,
I try to be,
everyones perfect puppet,
everyones lost dream,

do you even notice,
the scars on my wrist,
the criss-crossed of flesh,
healed over in a whitened tint?

Have you ever wondered,
how much perfection hurts?
how strong you have to be,
to carry on the hurt?

Just forget it,
you'd never understand,
after all you'll only feed me the line,
"I never asked you to be this."

So ill let the corruption do its deed,
ill let the wonder of my mind bleed,
ill let the pain take over the peace,
so long, fare-well, let me rest in peace.
