Is it worth fighting for?

by SexyStar   Mar 31, 2010

No matter which way I turn
A decision must be made.
Too many problems,
The questions must be laid.

Do you make me happy?
Sometimes, but you also make me snappy.
Do you make me smile?
Yes, but it only loiters for a while.

Sometimes I don't trust you,
Your stories I don't believe.
The cracks in this relationship,
Are clear to perceive.

A fake smile I give you,
A weakened hug.
Your smell, no longer,
Is my happiness drug.

There you stand,
Looking at me.
Saying "I love you"
But I just cannot agree.

You make me feel suffocated,
Not understanding my need for space.
My life is pretty hectic,
And you struggle to find your place.

Is this really worth fighting for?
I feel as if its only me trying.
Its wrong to carry on,
But letting go leaves us crying.

Crying for all we had,
The happy times we did share.
The laughs, the tears and the memories,
The thought of knowing we both did care.

Reminds me slightly of Foundations... but again, very good. It's all about that balance, between how much you love them and how much they love you... And sometimes, it goes awry... but the balance will be set rightm soon enough. You'll see. :)
