Karma

What goes around comes around,
that's what I'm told.

Karma's a b*&tch, never gets old.

I thought it'd be for you,
I thought shed be a witch to you too.

She broke your heart, she lied to you
I laughed to myself thinking "now you know my pain too."

See, you had done to me what she has done to you and I figured Karma was now through.

But she's full of tricks, and this was all in her mix.

You came back to me, not in the same way and I figured I was free.
Thought I was free from your grasp, didn't think you could ever make me lapse.

But somehow you did, you managed to open that lid.

You were my best kept secret and you never knew, even still.
I thought when you came back, it'd be to say you regret what you now lack.
But instead I see it was just to fill a void, a broken man from the girl that had replaced me.
It hurts to know I'm no longer in your heart, or even your thoughts.
But this feeling of "what goes around comes around" is different then i expected; instead of sweet revenge it's a bittersweet sadness.
For you are hurting, just like me, yet it's not the same.
You lost her, and you're to blame.
Yet somehow I'm still sitting here, stuck in this game.
