The Storm

by xXUnKnOwNXx   Apr 14, 2010

"Tick, tock," the clicking clock
Swaying back and forth
Watching every move
As each second flickers by.

Boredom...the sky sings in high winds...

A sad face spread across
The fleeting beauty of the sky
From the end to the beginning
Expressing your pain and misery.

Hurt...the sky cries in agony...

Tired, exhausted, yet so hyper
Head pressed to the window
Arms cuddled up around your head
Hyper with uncontrollable anger.

Anger...the sky thunders in rage...

Blank stare, pursed lips, staring eyes
Wet, damp, gloomy, foggy
Screaming torture in every drop
Falling to the ground; shattering like glass.

Tears...the sky pours down in bullets...

Remembering, as though watching
The day you left, the day I hurt myself
Lighting every memory of you on fire
Gone, faded into the ashes of mist.

Despair...the sky lights in reply...

From all directions, there is no hole
No place to hide, no place for run
Cowardly, time to say goodbye to my past
Time to leave everything behind.

Moved... the sky gives its last fight...
