Lines

by Taylor   Apr 20, 2010

Lazy Saturdays where the sun swept over me
Top full of regret
but too struck by beauty to care
I met his eyes and smiled at the
care free attitudes they possessed
Empty Bottles and Laughter Lines
forming as they let the grass spread beneath them
I wish I was 12 years younger
I'd give anything to approach them
like a 7 year old begging for friendship
Met with an easy 'yes' and that simple smile
We could all have those laughter lines tomorrow
