Penance Melodies

by Allanah Asphyxia   Apr 27, 2010

Shattered, alone, broken.
Constant memories bring back grimacing pain,
Ceased to exist in this fragrant memory,
Blown to pieces, by ones own misfortune,
Drowned out your cries, by this violent typhoon.

Shaking, denying, crying.
Torrential sobs overcome your body,
Shaking with remorse and plagued by guilt,
Reminisced back when life was happy,
and now to the roses that begin to wilt.

Lost, anguish, torture.
Heart pacing as you run away,
To flee from your troubles,
Your body sways,
Resentment has begun,
Blood bleeding through your pulsing veins,
Life shall never be the same.

Death, emptiness, void.
Breathing becomes troubled,
Your body becomes numb,
Ringing in your ears,
The pain has just begun.

Screaming, dying, penance.
Screaming so loud,
and nobody hears.
The storm was too violent, as you shriek to your peers.
Death has overwhelmed you,
Penance has succumb,
Death strikes your body,
Forever feeling numb.
