Waters of emotion

Today, my feelings rise and fall,
like waves they toss and turn.
The waters of my emotions fight,
against the fact that I was burned.

I'm hidden in a mist today,
a steam escapes my brain.
Where water meets the blaze of sorrow,
and cools away the pain.

Let down again, a second time!
sweet sour memories of the last.
And just like then, even now,
she ran away so fast!

She opened up her heart to me,
and I poured in like a flood.
A rush of passion and excitement,
then shocked, it turned to mud.

Thank God my soul sign is of water.
And I always fight the stream.
taking all the hurtful moments in life,
and lessons from them gleam.

Live and let live, choose to forgive,
this Pisces water in my veins.
Every time left high and dry,
I summon up the rains!

I'll await it out, to find someone,
a forever kind of mate.
Who wants me like I want them back,
and won't evaporate.

Someone who truly wants to stay
in the waters of my sea,
holding out the vase of their soul,

to be forever filled by me.
