Everything I do, is for you

by Marcus blake   May 9, 2010

I loved you, loved her
So much
Couldn't put my hands where my hearts was
And I figure that's why I end up
Were I usually am
Somewhere close to the ground
But farther and father
Away from you I'd go
Or you would leave for the spring
Come back for the fall
and maybe if I was lucky
I'd catch you at the mall
The winters cold breeze reminds me of that day
When we embraced and made or way
To a heaven far from our time
but woke up in flames...
You were the rainbow
The gold I chased
I was the racer
Training to win the race
For you
Everything I do, did
AM...
Is for you
