The feel of your arms around me,
the warmth of your breath on my neck.
It's a feeling that takes me away,
to the happier times all those years back.

You've always been there for me,
through the good and the bad.
You've always been by my side,
whether I'm happy or sad.

I don't know what I'd do without you,
I don't know where I would be.
It's a future I'm scared to think of,
a place I'd rather not be.

To have you in my life is a blessing,
a joy I could never express,
to see the smile on your face,
makes it all hurt just a little bit less.

I hope you never leave me,
as selfish as that may sound.
