Peace & Serenity

by Samsara   May 9, 2013

Peace and serenity,
a sense I no longer feel .
Alone and on my own,
feeling the cold sharp steel.

Maybe one day they'll notice,
just how hard things have been.
But for now they'll never know,
for the pain remains unseen.

The feeling of loneliness,
never strays afar,
I sit here in the darkness,
wishing upon a star.
A star I cannot see,
it was probably never there.
But What else do I have,
to release me from this dispair.

So to the skies above,
I look and pray.
But a piece of me dies,
Every single day.

Will anyone ever notice?
Do they really even care?
Will it all be too late?
Perhaps it's in my fate.
