Collide

by Poet on the Piano   May 9, 2010

You capture my breath
I'm on the verge of mesmerizing death,
Stormy galaxies away
both unable to witness light of fair day.
Wherever you may be
like a time watcher I do foresee,
a connection about to appear
shaking up our cracked hearts so dear.
Hear my desirous cry
until throat chokes up and words write the sky,
watch ocean consume wanted sand
your soul is where I'll then land.
Feel all around you
buzzing electricity never withdrew,
on the wall plant a toxic kiss
lush memories we'll want to later reminisce.
