Dream catcher

by dancing in the dark   May 9, 2010

You desire beauty, a high-heeled woman who will take your breath away.

I'm not her.

You roam around barefooted in your youthful body. Searching for your stolen identity

I cant help you.

Dream on lover boy, I wont be here to catch you in your lost stages of resentment

You stripped me of my inner thoughts, left me to feel desolate.

I am stashed away in your forever forgotten memory

Nights of love exchanged, obscured dreams, and unfathomable emotions.

Now I am here, the decorated dream catcher,
Intertwined laces complimented with gold and silver beads.

Filtering your inner most thoughts of your perception of reality

Admire me as I am plastered to your wall, enjoy me, as I will not be here for long.
