His life is a mirror, the mirror is stained.

He thinks he knew what they meant this time
and
He burns the note,
He thinks he threw it all away when he hid his eyes,

Deny,
Never knew there was another side to that face.

His life is a mirror. The mirror sheds dust.

He didn't want to hide, to feel what it's like
but
He feels a pain,
He thinks he threw it all away when he cut the bone,
.fly.
Never knew there was a mind behind that face.

eyes like the Winter

eyes like a dream
eyes like a stone
eyes like a scream

His life is a mirror, the mirror is
c r a c k e d.

He carries a war buried in his heart,
Sand is a pestilence.
Dirt has
more claim, to the name,
than he.
The ground is shattered, the ground is stripped down

A land is raped, a land is baptised.

Gave up a religion when he gave up a name,
Gave up all direction but the meaning's the same,
Grim beyond mortality, like life is a game,
Gave up all his feelings just for someone to blame.

Sometimes memories scour just like the sand does,
Sometimes emptiness
breaks just like the land does,
Sometimes brotherhood burns just like the sun can,
Sought solace in scores, but only
one can.

"If you could know how much it means to me,
To see you sundered like a broken bone,
If you could hear how much your screams for me,
satisfy this wound.
If you could feel with me like you once did,
Speak a language from a dried up tongue,
If you could split apart and
bleed for me
I'd think about my scars."

His life is a mirror, the mirror is sundered,
His life is a mirror, the mirror has eyes.
His life is a mirror, the eyes see nothing,
(nothing)
His life is a mirror, his soul's an abyss,
His life is a mirror, without the reflection,
His life is a mirror, the mirror forgives,
(nothing, nothing)

If he could see how much it means to be.
If he
could see
how much it
means to be.

It's a sickness.

Were you there when the sun was bound?
Were you there when the hourglass smashed?
Were you there when the one who gave us life,
Bled like a pig?
Were you there when I saw her face,
Were you there when they tore her smile?
Were you there when a child was raped,

When I was baptised?
